Walking at 9 months...
So, now you see why I don't ever seem to find the time to blog. I am kept quite busy!
This weekend Vaughn surprised us all by taking his first real steps. I really don't know why I was so surprised since he's been taking a step or two this past week, not to mention that he has been a bit ahead of schedule (at least in size) all along. But I guess I just didn't expect him to start walking all around from one day to the next.
He went from 3-4 steps and then falling on saturday, then a few more on sunday and to this... I took this video this morning!!
He also decided it was time to check out what is behind those cabinet doors in the kitchen... So guess what I'll be doing this week? Yep!! installing those great little childproof hinges to keep him from getting into everything.
Friday night Aaron was playing some game on the laptop and Vaughn thought that was pretty cool so he was trying to see what he was doing, I thought it was kind of cute so I snapped a couple of pictures.
Here are a few more from last week, he likes to look out the window at Sadie playing out in our backyard.

The fun has begun. He must have wanted to impress his uncle (didn't know how to spell the Spanish word for uncle) Beto on his birthday and show off.
I loved the video! What a little man acting all big and everything. By the next time we see him he will be talking up a storm.
What a sweetheart!
Wow how cool is.
he?! You'll be getting great workouts:) It's great to see how well he is growing.Take lots of pictures and video 'cause he'll be asking to borrow the car before you know it!!
Love Ya All!!

I know this sounds like I'm trying to tell you how to parent your child but in all honesty I'm not...just giving you a heads up. Children can still get into those "child proof" locks and what not. I noticed you have vitamins and other pills and such down where your baby boy can get into them. Trust me when I say children can get those tops off. For your son's safety, please put those up where he can't get to them even if you have a child safety hinge or lock on the doors.
Anonymous... I have no idea who you are, and it would be nice to know - that aside. I do appreciate the advice, I do not claim to know what I am doing this is my first child, so thanks for the advice, I'll take all I can get!
Hi Ceci...
Just clicked on your blog.
Wow...He has grown so much. Isn't it exciting to see how much they changed in such a short time? Careful though...in just a blink of the eyes they are grown and off to college. Enjoy every moment and cherish the memories you make. I love all your pictures. You are doing a great job as a parent. Your mom would be so proud.
