Friends

Friday Vaughn and I spent the day with Christina and Alex. We went to Grapevine, TX only 45min north of us, a beautiful place to spend the day and take lots of pictures.
We first went to a park/botanic gardens.
Christina and I have been friends for a while now and we enjoy hanging out and taking pictures together... Our boys are a few years apart in age, but Vaughn seems to have bonded with Alex. He followed him everywhere and wanted to hold his hand when we would walk... It was actually very cute, poor Alex didn't seem to think it was that cute, but he is a sweet boy so he went along with it.

The boys spotted the playground right away, so that was the first thing we checked out. Vaughn loves slides!

We then went by a historical house that had a beautiful red barn...

... and lots of old tractors, Vaughn enjoyed pretending he was driving and being up high.

Isn't this a cute little bird house?

These next pictures are at the old train station, it was very nice, but crowded so it was hard to take a lot of pictures, but the few I got there were my favorite.

Aren't these the cutest boys ever?... at least you agree with me huh, Christina?

Finally we had lunch at a little bakery downtown. unfortunately didn't get any good pictures there, but it was a yummy lunch. We had a tomato basil linguini and for dessert I had a napoleon (my favorite french pastry).

What a fun day, thanks Christina for planning it, can't wait to see your pictures...

These pictures are great. I love the first one and would like to have a copy of it.

I also love the one of Vaughn peeking thru the steering wheel of the tractor---great shot!!

You do such an awesome job capturing the memories.

Thanks for hanging out and making the day fun!!

P.S. You are right on--those ARE the CUTEST GUYS EVER!!!!!
