I just love this little boy!
I find that I never get tired of taking his picture, or watching him play, listening to him "talk," and I definitely do not get tired of his hugs, kisses and cuddles. Yes, I would be lying to say that I never get annoyed by his whining, or that I don't get frustrated when he throws a fit... but, in recent weeks I came to realize that I was taking my time with him for granted, I was starting to focus on the insignificant annoying little things that life throws at you when you are a parent, that I was missing all the joys that come with it.
Now as Aaron and I prepare for our anniversary trip to Mexico next week (our first trip without Vaughn) I am starting to wonder if I am going to make it 6 days without my little boy. I am not worried about him, I know he will be fine (he is still too young to realize we are gone), and his grandparents will take great care of him... I on the other hand, will be missing my boy terribly!

He is too cute!
Take as many pics as your heart delights. I enjoy seeing them and all the creative shots you come up with.
Don't be too sad on your vacation. Hopefully all the cool pictures to be taken will provide some distraction for you.
Coming home will be all the sweeter for you.
We went to Dallas for 6 days when Lindsey was about 3 and Alicia was alittle over a year. I had a great vacation and realized how much I needed some time to enjoy life without little ones. The girls were with my parents and did fine. Alicia was somewhat confused when we came home and it took some time for her to warm up to me again, but that passed within minutes and all was back to normal again.
