Merry Christmas

Wow, it's been a busy month, and I have not had a chance to go through the rest of our Mexico pictures to post, I'll have to do it later on. I did however want to post some pictures from our Christmas decorating time, and also take the time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
Vaughn and I spent the Monday and Tuesday, after we came home from Mexico, making the ornaments and then decorating the tree. The last few years (since Aaron and I got married) we had a bunch of cheap and very plain christmas ornaments. This year I wanted something different and something I wasn't just going to kinda like, but really love. I knew I couldn't go to the store and drop a couple hundred on decorations, so I had to make them my self... I think my total cost was under $30.
I decided on an "edible" Christmas tree... "edible" in the sense that all the ornaments are a form of consumable item, however, we are not actually going to eat any of it since some of it has been sprayed with glitter and others will be stale and nasty, but any way, you get the point. So here are the pictures.

how fun! The tree looks awesome! How do you keep Vaughn from wanting to eat the decor?
What a totally cool idea and fun for Vaughn as well. Do you think I could do a tree of just chocolate? That would be my style.
Thanks for the card! Your family pic is great!
Thinking of you today with a heart of love and compassions. May your heart be filled with memories that are sweet and priceless.
Merry Christmas!
How cool I have a similarly themed tree...I'll post pics on caralibro as soon as I have a better working computer! I almost made some ornaments like yours, but I ran out of time, so now I have some clear ornaments to fill next year and some marshmallows to eat this month!! Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Love,
Lissy
I love those ornaments you stuffed with food! How cute. My favorite is the mini marshmallows. Hope the ants don't get into them over the summer!
